Artist
Tommy Richman
At the dawn of the summer of 2024, Tommy Richman was one of the hottest new commodities in pop music. This was thanks to the Virginia-born Gen Z singer’s viral single “MILLION DOLLAR BABY”, which effortlessly combined influences from G-funk, neo-soul, chopped-and-screwed H-Town rap and state-of-the-art Trap&B into a dangerously infectious hit. However, Richman was no newcomer to the industry by this point. Trained as an opera singer, he surfaced in the mid-2010s with singles and EPs that bore a soulful slant, often veering off into unexpected territory. His mounting success led to a signing to ISO Supremacy, the imprint of like-minded R&B chameleon Brent Faiyaz. A year later, “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” had ascended to the upper echelon of the social-media hierarchy and the charts, and an enigmatic, suave new star was officially born.
